Owens Corning AttiCat® Blown-in Insulation
Adding insulation to your attic is a blast with the AttiCat® Insulation Blowing Machine! It conditions the AttiCat® Expanding Blown-In PINK Fiberglas™ Insulation by breaking it up and fluffing it, adding millions of the tiny air pockets that give the material its insulating power.
The insulation is conditioned further throughout the length of the hose, and as it bounces its way up to your attic, more and moreair pockets are added, increasing its insulating power even more. And since Fiberglas™ insulation will not settle, it will keep its energy-saving R-value over time.

Quick and easy • Blowing the insulation should take less than 1.5 hours and the whole job can be completed in less than 4 hours based on a 1,000 sq. ft. attic at R-30 ( R-30 = Approx 12” height) No mess • Fiberglas™ insulation releases and expands completely inside machine Safe and reliable

Tips:
Venting: Owens Corning recommends 1sq ft of venting per 150 sq ft of attic space to be ventilated.
If ducting is present in the attic, make sure it is sealed and in good condition before installing Owens Corning Atticat blown Insulation.
Prior to blowing in the insulation, the attic access door opening should be built up with wood, cardboard, or rigid foam insulation, higher than the planned height of the blown-in insulation. This will help prevent insulation from falling out when the attic access door is opened. Also, surround other things you don't want covered by the insulation in this same manner. A safety margin of at least 3” must be used around any heat generating sources, such as non-IC can lights, flues, etc..
Do not block any eave or soffit vents, use baffles to prevent this from happening.
